Mark Millard—Welcome to Frontier!
We pride ourselves on being a home-grown firm: our co-founders and managing partners, Richard Maclean and Andrew Lindner, have known each other for 24 years, and since the firm’s beginning 16 years ago, we have had the same focus on growth equity. That’s why we are always interested in hiring new associates who are ready to grow their career with us. Please help us welcome our newest associate, Mark Millard, to Frontier Capital! Here is a little more about Mark: What attracted you to Frontier Capital? Frontier was a combination of all the things I was looking for—a tight-knit culture, a proven track record with significant momentum, a compelling industry focus and an ideal location. Tell us about your role with the firm: As an associate, I will be responsible for researching companies in our target markets to identify potential investments, screening and analyzing opportunities, as well as executing investments. Tell us some about your background: I’m from Oak Ridge, North Carolina—a small town near Greenboro. Though I was born a Yankee in Connecticut and both my parents attended UConn, I’ve been raised a southerner. I graduated from Davidson College—a great liberal arts school near Charlotte—with a degree in English. How do you spend your leisure time? I enjoy playing and watching soccer and am a long-time fan of the English Premier League, specifically Arsenal. Additionally, with my parents’ allegiance to UConn, I grew up watching a lot of college basketball. I also like going to the movies and listening to live music—especially my brother Tyler’s band.
