On August 21, Frontier Capital took to their balcony in uptown Charlotte in anticipation of the first total solar eclipse since 1979! Equipped with NASA approved glasses, we were not alone in taking in the view from the rooftops.  As the sky darkened, the streetlights turned on, the birds started singing their evening songs, Uptown residents and employees flooded rooftops, balconies, parking decks, and lawns to catch a glimpse! Even though Charlotte wasn’t in the path of totality, we were still able to view 98% coverage! Despite lasting only a few brief minutes, the Frontier team thoroughly enjoyed viewing the once-in-a-lifetime event alongside a spread of Sun Chips, Milky Ways, and a solar eclipse-themed cookie cake.
